Alter Ego II
Alter Ego (Version II) is a participatory experimental installation, questioning the fundamental mental and mimetic inter-relationship between two dialogue partners. It creates a mental conflict of self-localization, a sense of loss of self, but also, at the same time, of pure empathy.
The artist
Moritz Wehrmann
Moritz Wehrmann is a German media artist.
His research work is conceptual, questioning the medium and its perception. He has worked at the IKKM (International College for Cultural Research and Media Philosophy) and lectures at BU-Weimar and HU-Berlin.
He has developed a long-term collaborative project with neurophysiologist Alain Berthoz (Prof. at Collège de France). He has taken part in numerous exhibitions, including Ars Electronica.
