Recto VRso 2020
A virtual edition
Recto VRso sees new horizons! Faced with the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Recto VRso team mobilized to adapt to new forms of creation and distribution. From April 22 to 24, 2020, Laval Virtual took place in a virtual world, the Laval Virtual World. Networking events were held in the virtual building featuring Recto VRso. A program of Art&VR conferences also took place in the dedicated virtual conference room. Guests discussed the new prospects opened up by virtualization in the field of art, with a particular focus on the presentation of immersive, interactive artworks in virtual space.
“Real Body / Virtual Body”
A virtual exhibition for 2020
The physical exhibition ” Real Body – Virtual Body ” has been transposed into a virtual universe. Recto VRso’s team experimented with another way of showing the scenography and artworks planned for the 2020 edition of the Art&VR Gallery: a virtual exhibition of Recto VRso 2020’s Art&VR Gallery. The exhibition was to be held in the magnificent 17th-century chapel of the Lycée Ambroise Paré. We created a 3D model of the space and elements of the planned scenography, then imagined an interpretation of each artwork in the virtual space, based on certain elements provided by the artists.. We invite the virtual viewer to travel and experience the exhibition in a different way.
