Sound designer Matias Harju.\n\nMarie-Laure Cazin is interested in involuntary interaction with viewers, using physiological sensors that do not disrupt narrative immersion. In this way, viewers become aware of their own interiority, the film itself being modified by their emotions. In the film, Sigmund Freud uses hypnosis to cure his patient. But during the session, Freud loses control. To understand the behavior of Freud and his patient, the viewer must experience both subjective points of view. By &quot;merging&quot; the spectator&#039;s emotions with those of the character, the spectator&#039;s emotional perception becomes auditory, creating a unique composition each time. By Cl&eacute;mentine Emond.  Master of Sound Design and Computational Design.\n\nThis project explores alternative communication through an interactive device in which two people exchange voices. Each uses a microphone, and their voices trigger mechanical movement via two coils located at the center of the device. These coils react to speech, transforming the act of speaking into a physical action: they rotate and move according to the intensity and duration of the sounds captured. The project also explores the notion of time and communication through thread, a symbolic object in myth, often associated with the passage of time. Here, it represents the interface between human language (voice) and the mechanical language of the device. These creations are produced as part of a three-course collaboration: the <em>VR vid\u00e9o 360 <\/em>option offered by Marie-Laure Cazin, the <em>Technologies du son : audionum\u00e9rique et cr\u00e9ation sonore<\/em> course led by Olivier Houix, and the <em>Nouvelles r\u00e9alit\u00e9s<\/em> course offered by Ama\u00ebl Bougard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is through this partnership that certain immersive and interactive art, between the real and the virtual. The works selected must resonate with the theme and invite the exploration of emerging expressions using digital media in particular, such as: virtual, augmented or mixed reality, immersive devices, generative artificial intelligence, interactive interfaces, robotics, sound spatialisation, presence effects and so on.
